Planning and coordination essentially take up my workdays which is why I use Microsoft Teams constantly. I started using its beta version as an early adopter. At first, it seemed a bit confusing, however the idea of having one tool that integrates calendar, chats, conference calls, documents and notes looked very attractive. As the application evolved so did my user habits. Now I use almost all features within Microsoft Teams from Microsoft Planner to Whiteboard and Business Intelligence Tools.
One of the things I really like about the app is the easy file sharing and collaboration with other people. I often need to work with teams outside my organization, so it is really important that I can simply share and define the access level and permissions they need. With Teams I can easily organize conference calls with customers and even friends and they can connect from anywhere. Mobile interface guarantees flexibility when having calls and I can switch between devices without interrupting the calls.
Whenever I need a custom application for a specific purpose, I always check the existing apps that can be instantly integrated into my Teams channel. Later on, I can make the necessary modification, so it completely suits my needs.

My colleagues and friends know that I like planning, structure and responsibilities. I started to use Microsoft Planner to realize more effective teamwork but it’s also useful to manage my own daily tasks. I think we all know the satisfying feeling of crossing out the done items in our classic to-do list – besides that, in Planner there’s much more to exploit. It enables you to work on a big project or strategy, break them down into different grouping considerations (buckets) and you may add different tasks, related notes, responsible person, and deadlines for them (or for yourself). You can classify them with different labels or prioritize the tasks. Monitoring the progress is also possible, while all the data are visualized in different charts.
Planner is integrated in Microsoft Teams so based on your organization’s Teams structure you are able to start collaboration on the level of and with the project/account/division team members. Sharepoint integration also fosters effortless teamwork: you can add different attachments to each task and if it’s a document that needs to be worked on, you may use it from your Sharepoint document library. The app is available on any device so in case you just finished a task on your way or new ones have occured, you may effortlessly edit it anywhere, anytime.
